SUICO is A BIG BIG underdog here. If only he can get a 'GOOD' TRAINER
He is slow and doest have the lateral movements that is needed to cut the ring.
Roach, mcgirt or steward can help him i think. what he needs is a world class trainer. He has a punchers chance againts diaz though

Here's a few things that are consistent w/ how posters describe Suico...
- He's slow
- Has no lateral movement
- Only looks to counter
- Huge puncher
I have one question about Suico.... How's his chin and stamina?
Well from what I've seen from the "Baby Cow", he's not that impressive either.
- Pressure fighter
- High workrate
- not much of a mover either
- Gets a bit careless in the middle of his combos
- feather fisted
Everybody talks about Suico being vulnerable to a boxer(stylist), well Suico doesn't have to worry about that against Diaz, 'cause The "Ugly Bull" can't box either, Diaz has **** for a jab and is pretty much a north - south fighter, meaning he doesn't give you much of a lateral movement.
Against Diaz, Suico will not need a world-class trainer(Diaz is not a world-class athlete) he just needs to pick up the pace and basically try to catch Diaz in-between punches , it's not like trying to catch Roy Jones Jr. in between his blinding flurries .
I think if Suico gets some solid meaningful punches on Diaz, then I could see Diaz losing some steam. Suico just needs to go for the kill when smelling blood.
If Suico is as big a puncher as some of you swear by, then Suico has an inside shot.
All it takes is one huge shot from a power-puncher to get the ball rolling. Diaz is not much of a slickster. Diaz's defense is his high workrate.Last edited by MrSmith; 06-22-2006, 10:42 PM.

Wasn't Diaz slated to meet Almazbek Raymkulov on July 15? What happened to Almazbek?
Isn't Suico rated at Jr. Light (but not in the top ten of any of the three leading organizations, last I checked) while Diaz holds the WBA Lightweight title whose number 1 contender is Singwangcha and whose top ten list includes the likes of Lakva Sim, Freitas, Casa, Raheem, Jose Miguel Cotto, Nate Campbell...?
