Respect big time to the ultimate road warrior Usyk, I'm rooting for Gassiev but now I'm kinda siding with Usyk!
Every fight in the tourney he's fought and beaten top opponents in their home turf, that's hardcore!
AJ should be calling and talking to Usyk about how he gets his confidence to fight on enemy turf!
No excuses to turn down a career high payday just because you want your fans to see you and it's all about them!

"Murat Gassiev has reportedly been stripped of his IBF cruiserweight world title for failing to negotiate a fight with mandatory challenger Ruslan Fayfer. The IBF ordered Gassiev to fight Fayfer just one day after his unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk was announced and gave Gassiev just 10 days to accept the fight with Fayfer or be stripped. Fayfer has since been ordered to start immediate negotiations with Andrew Tabiti for the vacant title. Gassiev, in the meantime, will fight Usyk, the unified WBC/WBO champion, in the World Boxing Super Series finale on July 21 in Moscow."

I'd bet against all of them doing it & expect to come out ahead I know that much.

April 16: "Most likely, I will be ready to fight by the end of June or the start of July, and [the fight] will not be Russia. Of course, it could take place in Russia, but then [the fight] would be without Olekandr Usyk"
June 15: Actually, what I meant by that is that "I'm Willing To Go Anywhere in The World For Murat Gassiev"
But seriously, I'm glad that the political BS is out of the way and that the fight will finally be made.
