Messed up part about it is if Andrade was active i'd favor him to beat just about anybody at 160 and i'd say it'd be a 50/50 fight with him and Charlo

Well that depends on if you count being ****** as an on-going injury.

I standby Andrade & Kirkland being neck & neck for the dumbest guys in boxing. And Kirkland hasn't fought in awhile so Andrade might have that title to himself now that I think about it.

Maybe you guys going to harsh on Drade, I think he has been avoided by the top comp at 154, he's high risk low rewards at his best.

His marketability sucks, who is to blame? Him or his promoter? I don't even know if he has a promoter by the way.

Dude just needs to stay out there. I know the RN stuff slowed him down but besides that he never bothered to stay busy. Hurd came along and eclipsed everything he ever did at 154 in two fights.

How do these guys that dont have a huge following survive only fighting like once per year?
Its not like they are getting huge amounts of money to last to their next fight.
They gotta be good with money i suppose otherwise have a second job?

I wonder that myself sometimes.

I know some of these guys got solid deals with the promoter they are with that pays them x dollars a month. Its usually nothing crazy, but would keep you afloat during inactivity + if you aren't completely ****** with the money you do get in fights that money you get monthly or from your fights could be saved for when you do got inactive periods.

Others get loans from their promoters. Manny has been notorious for that with Arum & is seemingly always rumored to owe Bob money. Who knows if all thats true, but promoters do loan out money to their fighters.

But I'm sure guys with less connections do gotta take a 2nd job.

I doubt big kirk will ever come back. Dont even hear about him anymore, i think hes just got good enough money to be living nicely in texas.

Guarantee that doesn't happen. He'll fight again or he won't be able to cuz he's in prison. This type of mfer is like a dog in their predictability if you ask me.

He's probably trying to be a drug kingpin back in Texas (that prediction I give good odds of being bumpable in a couple years cuz this cat is too dumb not to get caught if he is doing illegal sh^t right now) more than he's just sitting back & enjoying life like Maidana getting fat & shooting cans in his backyard.

He needs a promoter that actually does something. I don't mind seeing Andrade with Top Rank considering we might get the Japanese guy vs Andrade or a Jacobs fight since Eddie Hearn is in good graces with Bob Arum.

From what I've seen he's the one who avoided the top competition with the exception of Vanes.
