He will fight Oct 7 the date is slated for him on Showtime.No opponent yet but alot of buzz locally has been concerning a Lacy/tarver fight but I think he should fight at least one tune-up before coming back against a guy like Tarver.Although Tarver looked like **** against Hopkins he is still a World Class fighter and could pose a big threat.I would like to see him come back against someone like Joey Spina whom he could KO the **** out of but is unbeaten and thinks he is a bad ass.Manfredo would be a nice opponent as well but I guess we have to wait and see.

He has very good pop in his jab but does not use it nearly enough.I think his major flaw and problem will always be his footwork.He is just not quick on his feet he plodds along.He can get away with it because of his power if he just used his jab more and tightened up his defense.

Honestly I Think Lacy Is Gonna Come Back A Lot Stronger, I Think He Has Learned A Shotload From The Calzaghe Massacre And Becuz Of It Will Be A Lot Better Boxer And Not Just A Puncher, Also One Thing I Know About Jeff, And This Is Froma Guy Who Picked Calzaghe To Win Is That, He Has The Heart Of A Lion And Will Probley Ask For A Rematch With Joe Sometime Down The Line...
