He was considered by a lot to be the best at 147. Then he made a dumb move and fought gg. Which basically ruined his career. Who’s he fighting next?

Brook's two comeback fights are cherry picks who are unranked by everyone but boxrec who rank every boxer in the world. His first comeback opponent was ranked 53rd in the world and Cook is ranked 45th in the world. Wins over such boxers mean nothing for a supposed champion level boxer. Until Brook fights a top 10 154 pound boxer I have no interest in him. Khan's comeback opponent was ranked 101 in the world so he is no better than Brook. If he fights Brook it will be the battle of the cherry pickers, They both talk a great fight but they don't back up the talk by fighting top 10 contenders.

I think they reason they’re both fighting bums is that Hearn has them lined up to face each other, and there’s far too much money in that fight for Hearn to risk either losing.

I just want the Khan fight over and done with. Brook should win and then have a few more fights at 154, maybe even win a belt. He’d probably be happy with that as a career.

The GGG fight was a gamble that didn’t pay off, then moving back down two divisions to fight Spence wasn’t a good decision, though let’s not forget Brook still gave Spence a tough fight. He’s no bum and too proud for his own good, but it’s frustrating when he had a real chance to beat some big names at 147 or move up to 154 earlier without getting injured.

            brook is the GOAT

this is what you guys wanted right? brook was my favorite before he took the risks becasue i knew he wasnt afraid. he took the 2 most dangerous fights back to back that nobody in this world would take. hes gonna be fine, he seen the worst already. if these other clowns had the balls brook did boxing would be much more exciting and would bring in more casual fans

Probably the biggest myth on this board is that Hearn is control of fighters careers. As he has said many times, his job is to provide opportunities for his fighters which he has done well. Ultimately who his fighters fight is not his decision. It is AJ's, Kell's and everyone else's in his stable.

He got set up by Hearn with the GGG fight. I remember Hearn saying on IFL that he'd never made a dollar off Kell Brook. That was when Kell was scheduled to fight Vargas & GGG & Eubank were still negotiating. He cashed Brook out.

That's a theory. Eubank did puss out though. I think everybody knows that.

Brook vs Vargas would have done ok. Wish it happened.
