No, the Canelo fight makes sense. The guy needs to make his money.
That said, I don't think GG will every fight Charlo. He'll likely retire before that happens, like Sergio did to him.

Yeah, it's crazy to take $15-20m against one of the biggest stars in the world who happens to be an elite boxer over $1m against a guy who's beaten nobody, has very limited skill and is barely known.

Yeah. Golovkin is "ducking" a guy who isn't on the Ring P4P list in order to fight a guy who was #4 on the list until they recently disqualified him for testing positive for PEDs.

Golovkin will never fight Charlo. He's gonna get his trilogy with Canelo, maybe fight Saunders in the meanwhile and call it quits. Fight makes no sense for him, 5m-10m isn't worth living with brain damage.
