  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Wanted Tyson Fury To Face Travis Kauffman in Return

Prior to reaching a promotional agreement with Frank Warren, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (26-0, 19 KOs) was in serious discussions with Eddie Hearn of Matchroom. Last week, Fury made his return to the ring - after being inactive since his November 2015 upset of Wladimir Klitschko in Germany. In what was a one-sided mismatch, Fury stopped the much smaller Sefer Seferi in four rounds. Seferi refused to fight beyond the fourth.

We all knew Fury just wanted easy paydays. He shouldn't be mentioning the likes of Joshua if he still wants to fight bums. That's just using Joshua's name to stay relevant really. This is a shame but then there are enough fools who will pay to watch him w.ank.

Fury was right to refuse to be a Matchroom prop.

Instead Fury can just pick anyone from Wilders first 39 fights, not a single one in any current top 10 !! Yep evil Hearn tried to make Wilder face a current Ring magazine top 10 opponent, curse him for 5 million.

Hearn is crying and upset Fury isn't with him.

Hearns plays a little too much on social media

That's his right tho. He's a fat lazy fighter coming off a two year layoff. He probably needs 1-2 years of fighting and training to really get back in shape. And I ain't mad at him. He's no dummy. He gets folded by most heavyweights until he gets his movement back.

Fury never was anything special and now that he's damaged goods, he likely never will be.
