The fight doesn't "sell it self" as promoters like to say. People like controversy but with this it seems so subdued. Both sides are just talking over each other. There's no real back and forth. Canelo if you didn't know any better acts like a semi retired veteran in the twilight of his career. Golovkin acts like a street sweeper just content with whatever happens. Their personalities are boring and there is no real show and tell of what their both bringing to the table as brand. No momentum, just sitting on boards and picking up checks.

I was only meaning for more PPV buys, to me controversy sells fights, maybe Canelo being dirty wasn't staged, but using it to sell more by saying that GGG is pissed and Canelo going for the KO will sell more.
