Do you ever see Crawford fighting Spence, Thurman etc?..

Logistically, how easy are these fights to make? It's a genuine question because i've stopped caring about who is signed with who and who doesn't work with who.

Crawford seems very tired up with Arum and ESPN for his fights. Has Top Rank worked with fighters that are connected with Haymon and fight on PBC?

I know people say networks can work together but let's be fair, none of these guys are big enough to make that happen like with Manny v Floyd. The likes of Crawford and Spence are good fighters but not crossover stars and doubtful that they will be anywhere near big enough to make it possible.

As it stands, unless there's a big shift in the way things work, it seems quite unrealistic to expect these fights to be happening.

I guess the fact none of these guys are tied to promoters and Haymon is just an "advisor" makes it possible to work with others, but it seems there's a bit more to it than meets the eye. Everyone knows Haymon is using some loopholes.

Well, I don't see Thurman fighting anyone.

I think Crawford will face Spence eventually, but it will be a Ward/Kovalev situation where it's a big fight for the boxing fans moreso than the casuals.

I don't know the way boxing is now. I don't think or worry about stuff I have no control over, I think Spence, Porter and Crawford would gladly fight any welterweight but I doubt Thurman and Garcia would. I hope the top welterweights fight each other but I am not sure they will.

What choice he has? He has to force Arum to make this fights for him or he has to leave Arum and join haymon.

What fights has Arum for Crawford? Ponomarev, Kavaliauskas?

Why don't you think Garcia would?

Not a fan of him personally but people said he would avoid Matthysse and Thurman, but he never did

Eventually, yes. Let's assume all promotional/managerial allegiances remain the same I believe the PBC guys will all fight each other (maybe Thurman retires) and then there will be one man standing over there and Crawford still standing obviously. At the current pace it could be 2021 though which would be unfortunate.

In an ideal world Thurman goes to Top Rank or Hearn and perhaps sits back and waits to see Crawford-Spence first. I get a feeling if Thurman doesn't retire that he wouldn't fight both. It would be one or the other and he will stretch out time between fights so if he fights Porter or Garcia again (please no) then it will be a year before he considers Spence.

Why do you think he came to the division? Crawford is not a ***** like some other fighters. He moved up to challenge the best fighters near his weight-class similar to how Ward moved up to take on Kovalev.

Arum has already made two Crawford fights vs Haymon fighters in John Molina and Felix Diaz. I don't see any other fights vs Haymon's top welters for a while but not because Arum won't work with Haymon but because Haymon will want to keep his fighters in house. He has Porter and Garcia winning. Of course he would want that winner to fight Spence and the loser could always have a rematch with Thurman. Why would he send one of those guys to fight Crawford in a very risky fight? Haymon likes to make in house fights as much as possible and you can't really blame him here. Sure he might send Luis Collazo and Victor Ortiz over but not some high level guy. Even the Alexander Berto winner he probably wants to keep for his top guys

I actually don't see the PBC thing being an issue with TR and GBP anymore. I think they've gotten to the point that they are willing to match up guys as long as the terms are right. The fighters are signed to PBC, not Showtime, so technically speaking they shouldn't be locked down to a specific network. There may be some fighters, like Wilder that are tied to Showtime, but if I am not mistaken, everyone else can fight wherever.

I believe these fights will be made. Crawford wants them all, he's that type of guy. And Arum has belief in his charge and wouldn't step in to "protect" him. Honestly, Bob should have nothing to fear with Crawford. Thanks to Bradley, he got TR a supreme, generational talent. Crawford will get the prime treatment to ensure he stays with TR for the duration of his career.

Molina and Diaz are lower tier fighters compared to Garcia, Thurman, Porter and Spence. Arum wanted options on Diaz if he won. Arum wants anyone who is going to fight Loma or Crawford to agree to his demands and fight on ESPN. He will not allow Loma or Crawford to fight on another network regardless if they're willing to pay more. He has said it many times. Arum has no problem sending his lower tier fighter to fight on other networks. You are right about Haymon sending a Collazo or Ortiz over and agreeing to fight on ESPN because they're not such a big thing for Showtime. Just like Arum would send an Alvarado or Benavidez over.
