So why are you saying he is a 153 fighter if he fought for the middleweight title?

              because..... he weighed 153

Cotto fought Geale (at 157) and then he fought Canelo (at 155)

in both of those (consecutive) fights he weighed 153

he COULD have weighed 154, or more, in BOTH of those fights..... but, he did not..... he weighed 153

that means one thing kermit, he obviously totally ignored the (irrelevant) scale and came in at his best fighting weight..... like any old-school trainer will tell you

packing on additional unnatural weight is largely pointless and often ridiculous..... which is why I did not understand why Canelo weighed 164 for Chavez..... he should have weighed 160, regardless as to the contracted catchweight, because middleweight is where he intended to fight..... just like Cotto did when he returned to his senses and returned to 154

why do I always need to paint you a picture ?

why it is sooooo important for you to believe that 153lb Cotto was a genuine middleweight?

              do we need a 309 page do-over ?

Actually the catchweight in the Chavez Canelo fight was 164.5.

If he wasn't a "GENUINE" whatever you want that to mean today, then Canelo hasn't won a MW title, has he?

the Cotto that Canelo beat..... weighed 153

you can - and have - called him a number of things already

and middleweight was definitely one of them

are you changing your story because you don't know?..... or are you changing your story simply to agree with me?

You just said he wasn't a middleweight. Now you say he is.

Why are you changing your story?

Oh wait, because you don't have any idea what the fúck you are on about, other than you wish to suck Canelo dry.
