This is not a mismatch and this will be a close fight if it goes to scorecards. If Usyk objectively and legitimately edges it, he will be robbed for sure. Given the political reality and all the info wars between Russia and Ukraine, no way in hell Russia will miss out on this opportunity to use Gassiev in its propaganda machine. Usyk is 100% right not to go to Russia. Neither they should go to Ukraine for the same reasons. They can get referee and judges from Mars, one of them will still be robbed if he goes to another one's country.

I don't care where it happens, it just has to happen! This was my most anticipated fight of 2019 - screw Wilder v Joshua!

Please don't **** this up. This was gonna redeem the mess that was the SMW and lead into an awesome 2nd season if the info so far anything to go on. This would take the steam out of the whole project. They need this to succeed, unification, top man of the division, or everyone will expect the next season to fumble too.

hope this one goes ahead, it will be a cracker. neutral location makes perfect sense - NY or vegas would be good if they can promote it well.

Hopefully the talk of the fight not going ahead are just rumours. It wouldn't be a good look for the WBSS, and most importantly we miss out on a great fight.

There's always a question mark next to a venue when it's in Saudi Arabia or similar, things never seem to materialize.

I can understand Usyk not wanting to face Gassiev in Russia, the final should be on neutral ground. The whole climate at present between Ukraine and Russia just makes the situation a whole lot more complicated.

It's like they're trying to compete with the GGG-Canelo drama, smh.

I hate saying that, but he faked that injury. I was rooting for him before that fight, but now leaning toward Gassiev.
