Thats going to be really hard to do when there's an exclusive contract with ESPN. There's no way they'd let the most reliable fighter in the package fight outside of their ecosystem.

Unless its a PPV fight, Arum's only options are to use in-house guys, or steal a WW or two from Showtime. I don't see that happening. So bring on the parade of more marginal fighters that we all know are coming.

In other words, this is Arum trying to make Crawford his anti-Mayweather

I hate comparing fighters from back in the day to current ones.. everything's different.. nutrition, technology, bigger fighters, peds.. the only thing that's good about the good ole days is that they are gone! Welcome to the present.. im not saying we shouldn't honor or respect the past fighters.. but damn.. how can you compare it to today's circumstances? This world is ever changing.. fighters are bigger, stronger, faster, smarter, some are intelligent cheaters and manipulators of the system.. the internet is everywhere.. so there's more competition from all over the realm. Its a totally different animal now..

Crawford is no Leonard. SRL would beat him. With not much of a problem.

These three would own every belt from their hay days until today. Nobody would have beaten them. Fact. And no, not Floyd.

Crawford will never get a huge money. Spence is the biggest fight for him and this is not a fight of 2 superstars. It is just a big fight.

which obviously sucks for Crawford because I think he beats every welter weight out there other than Spence and is 50/50 with him.

Arum can’t force Pacquiao to fight him. All of his advisors already advised against that fight. I’m sure Bob wants that fight
