For me since the retirement of S.O.G, Crawford is the number 1 P4P! Follow very closely by Lomachenko

And stop pretending his loss wasn’t in his second fight fighting competition that is even now considered good.
Crawford has not accomplished anything near the run Loma is on.
Sorry, but simply not the case.

And Linares...who I respect has lost to every top fighter that he's faced. This isn't to belittle Loma because these are all good fighter, but Bud has become lineal champion at LW, unified all 4 belts at JWW, and just won a trinket at WW and is undefeated. And Bud just beat up a guy who roughed Pac up.
That's why it is a bit confusing to me.

Ricky Burns beat Martinez. Salido beat Loma. Walters beat a smallish Donaire and old Darchynian. Sosa beat Fortuna.

(I know it may sound idiotic to address this personally to Ward, he won't read it himself but maybe, just maybe some of his friends on here may tell him).
What does your AFRICAN AMERICAN friend need to do to be P4P #1, or I mean, to be considered better than the East European boxers above him, most specially Lomachenko who is a freak, a totally different beast than ANY boxer in the history of boxing?
Well for starters, MAYBE WINNING by robbery the 1st fight with your main Eastern Europe opponent, in the US nonetheless, having been dropped by him in a very close fight where the one always on the attack, pressing the fight was your opponent?
Or maybe, blatantly THROWING and connecting 10+ low blows to your opponent, with your referee friend and American commentators turning the blind eye?
Surely if your friend Crawford does all this cheating and trickery to fight Spence or Charlo and "soundly beat them" he may be considered the top guy, but how on earth will the judges turn the blind eye on ANOTHER AFRICAN AMERICAN BOXER fighting you? Probably this time they would "see" unless someone big is sponsoring Crawford big time, having all the briberies been taken care of, for their boy to "win" at any cost.
I mean, I am 100% sure that, had Crawford not been a HUGE guy vs. Gamboa, who was and is a WAY FASTER, SLICKER and better boxer, had they fought at least one division lower, where the fight had been on equal terms, Crawford wouldn't even be undefeated as he is now, because Gamboa was giving him a pillow-fisted Mallinaggi-style boxing lesson, but he never hurt Crawford because he was so pathetically small. On equal terms, that plethora of connected punches would have had an effect on Crawford. And likewise, Crawford wouldn't have been able to KO an opponent who was putting a beating on him, just because he was so unfairly bigger.
And if this crap coming from a blatant cheater, a disgrace to boxing such as yourself, is gearing towards trying to make a SUPER-UNFAIR MATCH between Crawford and Loma IN THE US OF COURSE, WHERE ROBBERY VS. THE ALIEN IS ASSURED 100%, I'll have u know that LOMA IS A NATURAL 130-135-POUNDER WHEREAS YOUR FRIEND CRAWFORD IS A NATURAL 147-POUNDER, so that fight makes no sense whatsoever, it is the same exact story as Loma-Rigo. I hate Rigo, a cowardly fighter, 100% defense against real threats just like Floyd, or yourself, but let's face it, the guy is 100% quality and on equal terms I am not so sure Loma would have won that fight the way he did, yes I think he would have won, but it would have been very competitive I think.
Please just shut up and stay retired, watching reruns of the low blow fest you used to "defeat" Kovalev in your country with your referee, comp-stats and commentator friends.
Let Loma keep demonstrating he is in another class boxing wise, and I hope he DOES NOT MAKE THE HUGE MISTAKE of ever going 147 and facing Crawford, or anyone else on top level for that matter because he will be horribly KO'd, the guy is just too small!Last edited by sterilizer; 06-13-2018, 04:24 AM.
