Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua-Wilder May Go To Wembley in October, November

If promoter Eddie Hearn and Deontay Wilder's team can close a deal for an Anthony Joshua-Wilder showdown, Hearn wants to bring their huge heavyweight title fight to London's Wembley Stadium. According to Wilder's co-manager, Shelly Finkel, the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion has agreed to battle Joshua in the United Kingdom, where each of Joshua's past three fights have drawn crowds of at least 78,000 to stadiums.

Don't think I would chance an outdoor date in October never mind November hahahaha. October averages between 10/16c and has 10 days of rain.

September between 13/20c with 7 days of rain.

What about if it is a clear sky day will it be held outside? I think that would be dope! May be too late in the season though.

The millennium stadium in Cardiff has a roof just stick it in there and crank the price up a bit

The fight will sell out in minutes ! Regardless of the price

Yes and no, it has a roof and it can close to cover the seats for football but that's when its configured for football. The ring and ringside (the pitch) would actually be open to the elements. So only the cheap seats would be dry.
