Wilder is accepting the only damn fight that makes him some serious money. He was backed into a corner. Fight Joshua for $15m+ or Bumzeale for $3m.

And it turns out Hearns offer isn't a split. It's still a fee. Hearn low balling doe.

if the contract is signed within the next few days, Joshua vs Povetkin could wait.

Ever notice how Hearn doesn't negotiate through media, while Wilder does? Hearn says 'I asked and they answered, so there we are at the moment'. Hearn informs. Wilder team's announcements are all one-sided. 'We offered 50 mln! We accepted the fight! We are pushing for the contract!'. Where's Joshua team in all this? Why not post 'We agreed the fight' in two days instead?

Which, unfortunately, tells me that there's more than meets the eye here and it's unlikely that we see the fight agreed straight away. If Wilder's team are using media to apply pressure, then they want some concession they are not telling us about...

Hope we see this fight in October.

yeah this might not happen. these tea sipping cowardly Brits have no integrity.

the new roadblock will probably be the Canelo fight. cant put anything past slick Eddie and Juicin J.
It won’t happen next Eddie done the same thing Chris Eubanks and others they are fighting Povetkin first

            ESPN.

"There's no [percentage] split, but they've offered us a good purse. Not as good as we feel it should be, but we want the fight, and we're willing to take what they offered," Finkel said. "We wanted a percentage, but we didn't think we could get it done in a quick time frame, so we said let's take what they've offered us. Deontay wants this fight."

Sky sports are waiting for Hearn to get Team Joshua side of things. Hopefully this fight gets signed off, no more roadblocks.

This is why it is an intelligent thing to wait for both camps words and then read in between the line. We shall see what Team Joshua comes out with. If this is indeed sorted out without any media playing on either side then great.

I never understood the obsession with a %, flat fees can be more lucrative than a %, a flat fee is a guaranteed fee. % means nothing if the fight doesnt do past a certain selling mark.
