I think Thurman would be a more difficult fight for Crawford than Spence.

Just got done rewatching Thurman vs Garcia and Spence vs Brook. After really analyzing both their skills, I think both would beat Crawford but I think Crawford would have a harder time with Keith. Here's why.

Keith is actually the more skilled fighter than Spence. Spence may have a more consistent jab and ability to cut off the ring but Thurman has the better defense, combinations, movement, athleticism, hand speed, footwork, and ring generalship/boxing IQ. It could also be argued that Thurman hits harder than Spence since both Porter and Bundu have fought/sparred both. Both confirmed that Thurman hits harder. Although Spence and Crawford would be more of a war, I think Thurman and Crawford would be a chess match with a mix of fireworks. I see Crawford vs Thurman being like Casamayor vs Corrales 2. One has more tools than the other but size, speed, and power wins the day. What do you guys think?

The majority of posters are sleeping on Thurman now. If he comes back and is in form he has a major shot to beat both.

Thurman swings wide . Can be hurt to body. Inactive. Isnt aa hungry as spence and crawford imo

Crawford found it very easy to time an awkward guy like horn

      He beats thurman for sure

Thurman had close fights with porter and garcia

Thurman 8-4 Sporter and 9-3 Garcia. Those fights were not close.

Thurman doesn’t have the power of Spence or skill of Crawford plus he obviously has had a serious injury

Completely agree with this. That's how I'd rank them as well, with Crawford being the most skilled of the three. Right now, Spence would beat Bud on sheer size.

Thurman is an OK fighter, IMO, and that's it.

Why do people say this? Thurman is one of the hardest hitting welterweights and has just as much power than Thurman if not more. A common opponent even said Thurman hits harder..notice Spence hardly just one punch knocks out a guy..this is silly. Thurman used to be a 154 fighter it's silly to think he wouldn't be able to hurt Spence.

why do people think thurman has a ton of boxing skill? do younot see his face busted and him getting hurt a ton in fights?

his defense consists of him using his legs. when he cant move around hes gonna be in big trouble with spence.

lilttle midget wide swining porter gave thurman his toughest fight and put his ass on the ropes. what do you think a much biigger, skiled fighter like spence would do who actually jabs his way in ?

thurman is ez work for spence, trust me he aint going 10 .
