I'm already paying for espn +, so i'm hoping eventually we get fights on a weekly basis. I would love see Crawford fight 3-4 times a year

What Arum means is that he already has 3-4 bums lined up from Crawford.

People need to be honest about these opponents. We just saw Indongo get blasted by Prograis like he was a prop up fight. Postol's best wins were Matthysse and Lundy. Diaz went life and death with a guy (Peterson) people claim is a marginal fighter (which I disagree with). And Horn shouldn't have been in the ring (we know Arum resorted to his old tricks to get that belt from Manny).

I like Bud and how he handles his business but there needs to be some scrutiny on these opponents. The quality is very similar to Danny Garcia's comp prior to Thurman and people called him a cherry picker (rod salka was unacceptable though) lol

Does TR got the quality opponents to pay him what he's worth & have it all make sense if he fights 3-4 times a year. I mean if you pay me the same for 2 medium caliber fights as you do for 3-4 low caliber fights I think just cuz of all the fight training/prep stuff I just fight the 2 times a year. But idk thats just me. Maybe Bud feels differently.

I'm not buying it. I've been watching his career closely. This guy still isn't selling tickets. In his last 4 fights outside of Nebraska he's done very modest at the live gate. Attendance yesterday was 8.1k. And that was at MGM Grand Garden. (Lundy - 5k attendance at MSG; Postol - 7k attendance at MGM; Diaz - 8k attendance at MSG)

Meanwhile Spence just had 12k in attendance at Barclays against Peterson and is expected to have 12 - 15k for Ocampo. (After pulling only 7.6k attendance against Algeri at Barclays)

I know Crawford averages around 11-12k attendance in Omaha, but he's still not connecting nationally.

We won't even have a "ratings" number for this fight because of the app. He's not anything close to a "household name" imo. I think he's right in the bunch with guys like Garcia and Thurman.

Bob puts him in Vegas because Crawford gets paid so much and the casino money subsidizes the card. What other fighters are doing 8k in Vegas?

And Omaha is not a major metro area like Dallas. Of course he's not gonna get 15k like Spence. I doubt they have a venue that holds 15k

If Bud fights a couple times on ESPN he will be a household name.
He has the goods as far as boxing goes and Arum knows how to milk it.

Maybe Bud should move over to PBC and fight once every 10-12 months! Stop making it seem as if things would be better at PBC. Spence can't get a big name under the Haymon banner.
