Spence Jr vs Crawford not happening anytime soon that is going to be a hard one to make
IF ESPN truly wants the best boxing match ups on their platform then they will need more than just Top Rank Fighters they might have to jump in and do what ever it takes to assure these fights get done or else they will be stuck showing mismatches

jeez, he's only been at welter for 20 minutes. Benevidez is cool, but I wouldnt mind seeing him against a few Jessie Vargas / Adrian Granados / Lamont Peterson type opponents to really be able to assess him at welter.......

Felix Diaz was a Lamont Peterson caliber opponent and look what Crawford did to him. Diaz beat Granados. Jesse Vargas is a worthy opponent.

We obviously know it should be Spence but that is never going to happen. Pac is still the guy who will fight anyone and that is most likely next at some stage.

Matthysee, Khan, Benevidez, or Jesse Vargas would all be good opponents. The best thing that can happen is Lucas blasting out Pac and not being afraid to take the Crawford fight. Second best is Khan whose only real loss to me at 147 is Garcia which is no shame.

Khan or Benavidez. Not that I dont want to see him fight Spence, I just see these as most likely and neither is a bad first title defense.

Bobfather might be able to persuade Pacquaio, but Pac is interested in Lomachenko.

Love the idea about him against Spence but no way is it happening this year. hopefully im wrong though.

Him against Porter/Garcia winner would be fun

This would be a good fight, and a money fight. Crawford looked good but not that strong at welter yet and Khan is actually a good fighter when fighting within his weight class.

Steer clear of Spence at all costs for now. It's a guaranteed L at this point.
