This is the article on why Usyk v Gassiev is in trouble. Doesn’t give enormous detail, but still enough to be worried about if true.

When the WBSS announced Saudi’s had the rights to the final I said it could be trouble as it’s not a boxing country and would look to offload it

Apparently they have sold it to The Russians and Usyk won’t box in Russia for political reasons

Naoya Inoue's (the WBA regular BW champion) next opponent could possibly be the WBO world BW champion Zolani Tete (27-3). This fight could serve as an opening round bout for the WBSS BW tournament.#井上尚弥 #拳击 #ボクシング #boxing #boxingjp #boxeo #boxingnews #kakutoginews pic.twitter.com/xGgquiO20F

oh ****, I'm way more interested in this one than 140. People know I'm big on Inoue. Any word on Yamanaka?Comment

oh damn, didn't realize he was 35! Still though, surprised since both those Nery fights were suspect (PED fail and then scale fail) I gotta get wth the times! I didn't even realize the WBC stripped Thurman until yesterdayComment

WBC didn't stripped Thurman. Thurman voluntarily give up the WBC belt to focus on recovering but there are su****ions that he may sign with Eddie Hearn.Comment
