I don't get exactly what Warren has done wrong here? Timing and injury means that none of the belt holders are available.
I'd thought that Selby was up for the Belfast date if the Warrington fight ended quickly in his favour? Selby chose to take the Leeds fight and really has only himself to blame for how poorly he performed.
Warrington was rightly looking after his own interests in swiftly shutting down the Belfast date. I'm sure there will be a su****ion that Warren was happy for this to happen as he gets longer with another big domestic draw, but there's no way of proving this. In any case he's just finished a 12 week camp and the fight was a tough one. It's fair enough in my view to demand a decent rest period before his first defence.

He took all 3 featherweights gave them all the same promise then put his eggs all in on warrington at the start of that week, read any of his press or listen to the interviews from before and after. Warrington did him no favours, but it's still warrens fault as he locked in the date. Windsor is annoying to get. It isn't as easy as just shifting the date. Most fans who follow schedules knew all the "names" would be out of the question for that date. It;s been an open secret. Multiple Irish boxers/journos have commented on there was no way he could do what he promised when signing him. Ohwell, I am amazed at the fact promoters have fans the same way the fighters do on this website. There's a reason one of his own boxers shot him lol
I'm no Warren fan, just wasn't sure what he'd done in this instance. Take your point about booking the venue before sorting an opponent.

Yeah apologies was more general for this site than really aimed at you but that wasn't made clear at all. Thanks for explaining anyway though.
