Probably so. Still, he fights well in that tournament, win or lose, and there's likely a legit chance that he can find a spot fighting on Showtime after.

Only other option is to fight Ramirez on ESPN, and that's a dead-end if he doesn't win (and arguably a dead end if he wins too, tbh).

Rocnation has waning clout, so moving to a situation that can leverage multiple fights makes the most sense, imo.
