seferi is a good comeback opponent

its a good fight to shake off some ringrust, dont really know who you lot expected him to fight to be honest, fury is still not really at his fighting shape yet either. i cant think of many fighters who ballooned as big as he did and came back to the sport.

And seferi isnt the bum hes being made out to be. hes very durable and never been stopped

1 loss, thats all, to wba regular champ manuel charr. And he gave a good account of himself.

Other than that hes stopped 21 out of 23 opponents. 6ft 2 and 15 stone isnt a small man either, theres plenty of shorter heavyweights through history.

Its a myth that you have to be huge to be succesful in that division, in almost every other era it hasnt been the case and unless im wrong tall men have existed for a long time.

im not saying hes a world beater but some of the comments regarding him have been downright disrespectful.

and all the noise coming out of the camp is that he fancies the job and hes come over here to do a number on fury.

its gonna be a great night of boxing on bt sport.

The opponent will be as good as Fury lets him.

I would question the pick bc how many fighters had to deal with a 6'9 fighter /85 inxch reach who had skill at 6'2 ?

Fury is going to be fighting 6'4 plus guys he needs to adjust to that while fighting for real....... idk it seems a waste of time for him .

Im looking forward to this fight just to see how hard Fury punches him in the face since they appear to be best friends ! lol

I think its a fair assessment, but him and his big mouth old man shouldn't be talking about the top dogs.

He should be handling those questions like "I don't want to discuss those boys because I'm not ready, and I need to shake the rust off"

He should just be getting on with business. Even Haye kept a low profile on his return, still did massive numbers.

I saw him mention he's still the lineal champ, etc etc. All that stuff is bogus. You've been out 2.5 years, after winning one world title fight. He is trying to compare his situation to Ali, when it's nothing like the same.

Seferi is a piece of dog****.

He wouldn't make Tyson Fury's sparring partner. let's call it what it is.

            Totally agree.

Seferi is an iron chin just like his older brother and can punch too.

I guarantee you that Seferi would give a decent fight to someone like Dillian Whyte.

Uhm no. He's a domestic level 40 year old cruiserweight who's almost a foot shorter and will weight 50 lbs less.

This is worse than brand ward, way worse. Hope he doesn't get hurt.

It's a horrible mis-match, let's just hope he fights someone better next. Still it's going to be interesting to see how Fury looks in the ring, his movement, stamina...etc.

1 loss indeed... at the only time he's fought at heavyweight.

But yes he's stopped 21 of 23 opponents at cruiserweight... even then it's kind of interesting to add up just how many times these guys Seferi has knocked out have been knocked out by others... the answer is a grand total of three hundred and twenty nine times.

This fight is nothing more than a glorified sparring match. That's fine and all but don't try and pretend it's anything more than that.

Fury himself needs to acknowledge that and shut up with his **** and focus on actually getting into fighting shape and back into some semblance of the fighter he once was... at the moment he is still continuing to act the clown.
