Wilder was never in the equation. Too risky while there are Tens of Millions to be made in the UK fighting more predictable fighters. Povetkin is a man Wilder would have disposed of first had the Russian not been dirty. Just like Oscar, Hearn simply follows the money. It's good for business but lousy for the hard working fan seeking genuine excitement.

Suprised team wilder have been so quiet as of recently. Last news was they was happy to come to the UK, no mention of the money being low so assuming they happy with the offer they probably wanted it later and both agreed to take one fight before facing eachothet end of the year

Povetkin is a real fighter, an Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist and former WBA champ who beat a legit champ in Ruslan Chagaev.

Wilder is a hyped job, a great black USA hope developed to bring African American fans back to the heavyweight division with smoke and mirrors.

Wilder plainly ducked Povetkin as evidenced by Wilder's manager Shelly Finkel stating Wilder was not going to be fighting any top opponents inn2015 including Wlad Klitschko who was unified champ. Wilder won a paper WBC belt that Vitali retired with. Wilder is just hype, but Povetkin is at least 50-50 to beat Joshua. Wilder has no chance except a punchers chance vs both Povetkin and AJ.
