And just for the record, there are many ways to fight offensive while remaining defensively responsible. The pot-shotting approach is not the only way. Go watch prime Mike McCollum. Once again, this is no way to suggest Lomachenko should change his style.
Offensively dazzling fighters like Lomachenko always run into problems...

We have seen him fight more defensively. Against that guy he hurt his hand against, he turned into a potshotter for the last 4 rounds. I personally just don't think that is his natural way. He likes being in the danger zone.
He loves combination punching. At some point it will get him in trouble again but I enjoy watching him.Comment

I really do think he would evolve as he gets older, the younger fighters that would be coming up would be bigger at the weight, so he would need to. He already has the ring IQ and like Mayweather did I see him evolving with the younger fighters as he gets older.Comment

135 was Marquez best weight. He would literally rip Lomachenko to shreds at 135. Pac also, morales and Barrera would terminate him. Floyd would school him but Floyd was so big at 135, I think Floyd would just wear him down and sleep himComment

Time will only tell if Loma could last another 10 years fighting in the same style he's fighting now. I really doubt he can fight another 5 years like that. Floyd was an offense machine when he was younger and changed his style to preserve his ability to fight until he was 40. Loma already got injured and had surgery, which could be telling in the future. He will either adapt his skills and become like Floyd, or end up like Roy Jones after he lost all his natural abilities.Comment
