Atlas can think whatever he wants. However, he should act like a professional about it.

... yes... this is the Compubox stats...

Manny Pacquiao had a 182-92 edge in total punches landed, hitting on 32%. Pacquiao had a 123-73 edge in power landed, bolstered by a huge ninth round. Jeff Horn

umm you do know these numbers are 100% false right? that's why punch stats are never used to determine winner. its simply a couple dudes ringside punching buttons. those numbers are to ****e up the telecast for viewers at home. they have zero value.

Atlas is one of the very very few people i trust and respect in this sport.

However on this occasion, I have to respectfully disagree with him about the so called "robbery".

Even Teddy can have a bad day at the office. His stance on the Horn v PAC decision is one such bad day.

i rewatched the fight recently, cause the first time i saw it i thought pac got robbed by the margins....but horn won that fight. he doesnt look good. crawford will probably tear him up (i'm kind of thinking he'll play it from the outside like the postal fight) but back to the pac horn fight, pacquiao looked like he was trying to box like he used to know how but couldnt do it. too old. too much rust. I don't think this will be an easy fight for crawford depending on how he fights it and the fact that horn is a physical fighter and used to the weight class, but come on. Crawford is a way better boxer than horn. Hands down. I wouldn't be surprised if bud knocks him out in the later rounds.

lomachenko moved up to a harder fight as the smaller man and pulled it off. Bud is just as good if not more versatile. Horn is no linares. Bud wins this one for sure.

and for punch stats. if i throw 0 punches 5 of 12 rounds. and only land 1 more punch for the other 7. i win the fight right? Even though i was outlanded overall for doing nothing those 5 rounds? punch stats are interesting and do say a lot but not what determines the winner. a jab is a punch if its for the guy you want to win right? or only power punches count? come on.

Fights are scored round by round, not on overall punch stats. So those numbers mean nothing without context.
Pacquiao could have won a round by 20 or so punches horn won the next just by 2 or 3, it’s still just one round each.

A lot of those rounds were very close and tough to score watching on tv, never mind from a fixed position at ringside were there would have been times it would have been difficult to determine if a punch was clean or landed on the arms etc.
No one dominated and no one was robbed, it was a close fight that could have gone either way. Even Crawford has said it wasn’t a controversial fight and he had Horn edging it.

Oh please don’t try and sound all noble teddy, it’s nothing to do with responsibility to the viewers, you’re just an egotistical, arrogant, over opinionated w4nker.
It’s not his job to to try and portray his opinions as fact, and it’s irresponsible to cry robbery every close fight which just fuels the arrogance of others can’t respect others opinions on a subjective outcome.
Fights like García v Peterson, Canelo v Lara, Canelo v ggg, groves v degale aren’t controversial they’re just close fights that are open to interpretation depending on what you look for in a fighter.

Courtney Burton v Emmanuel Augustus was a blatant robbery, that one judge had Canelo level on points with mayweather needs investigating, the judge who had froch level with groves at the time of the stoppage in their first fight needs investigating. Those are genuinely controversial, but to cry robbery every time a close fight doesn’t end how you think it should is mind blowingly arrogant.
