Comments Thread For: Parker To Whyte: You Said You Want a War - Let's Make it Happen!

New Zealand's former world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker says he is willing to wage war with next opponent Englishman Dillian Whyte and the hope it earns the winner a world title bout. Parker, who lost his WBO belt to Britain's world champion Anthony Joshua in their bout in Cardiff in March, has accepted a tough clash with Whyte in London on July 28.

Lol.. Ortiz remembers what you said about him being 60,000 years old.. this man called you out.. then even wilder said you would get to fight him automatically if he beats Ortiz.. so instead of backing up that talk and proving the majority of hardcore boxing fans wrong by beating ortiz, while simultaneously calling wilders bluff, instead you, you rat bastard, (duck) ortiz, (duck) pulev and (goose) parker? What kinda eliminator is this? I wanted to see ortiz play whack-a-mole on your noggin! Lol

Yeah right, Joseph Parker = Snooze Fest

      Parker vs Ruiz
      Parker vs. Cojanu
      Parker vs. Fury
      Parker vs. Joshua

One thing all 4 of those fights have in common is that they were all boring and Joseph Parker fought in all of them.

Whyte has got the heart of a lion for agreeing to fight a former HW champion.
Ortiz is a nobody. This is a great match-up, looking up to this.

So you would rather see this fight than Whyte vs Ortiz? You don't know boxing if you think ortiz is a nobody.

I could see it being a war or being a measured jab-fest like AJ/Parker, hopefully it's the former

Yawn.. Why does everyone keep ****ing on about Ortiz. Hasn’t everyone forgot he just got KO’ed?

I like Ortiz, but He’s had his title shot. Time to get to the back of the line..

Whyte wanted a contractual guarantee that Ortiz would put him in a mandatory position. I don't blame Whyte for losing faith with the WBC because they did kind of mess him around passing him over for the mando shot.

Besides that, I'm not complaining because the Parker fight is a good one. It's a risk on Whyte's part, but if he wins he'll be considered among the best 5 or so HWs in the world by most fans. Personally I think Parker will be too slick and too quick for him

                    1.Wilder
                    2.Ortiz
                    3.Miller
                    4.Fury
                    5.AJ

Parker would lose to all five of these men.. and some believe he lost to h. Fury.
