#1 IBF Sergiy Dervachenko vs ???

With Triple G getting stripped of his IBF Golf, Sergiy is now in the drivers seat. But looking at the ranking there is no number 2 ranked fighter. However 3-5 are all ranked as the following:

3 Jermall Charlo (who is WBC #1 ranked)
4 Daniel Jacobs (who is WBA #1 ranked)
5 Demetrius Andrade (who is WBO #1 ranked)

So, how does this work. Does Sergiy have to go to 6 ranked Tommy Langford since the other guys are ranked number one in other orgs?

If Oscar is telling the truth than you can pretty much get rid of Jacobs. Charlo will probably hold out to fight GGG instead of Derevyachenko due to $. Which basically leaves Andrade as the clear option.

Hopefully its Charlo. Seems like its a rarity when the legit top 2 guys fight for a vacant title for w/e reasons doe so I wouldn't bet on it.

Why is there no number 2 guy? There may be a simple and legit answer, but I don't pay enough attention to governing bodies to understand. I mean, shouldn't the number 3guy be number 2?

charlo and jacobs wont fight him, too low reward for high risk, it will be Andrade.

I see Charlo taking the fight. I think Di Bella went the legal route, because they want Charlo to beat Dereveychenko and take a belt to Showtime.

              Derevyanchenko can't fight.

-Jacobs won’t fight him same trainer and is in the Canelo sweepstakes .

-Charlo might but he’s going too push for his mando shot soon but both are with Haymon so there’s a chance.

-Andrade is a massive headache and will make it difficult and annoying but it may happen if he doesn’t act like a complete ****tard and turn down the fight again.

So Langford is sadly the most realistic unless Sergiy gets some Beterbiev level ducking.

why would they risk the golovkin payday when they are no.1 mando, to fight chenko for pennies in comparison, in a fight he could very well lose, I don't see it.

Andrade has less money and hype behind him, he's already turned down chenko once, i think his handlers will throw the dice on him here.

GGG is London bound to fight Saunders, and having the IBF title means that they'll get a bigger split of the pie if they do fight Golovkin. It also gives them flexibility, not being beholden to HBO and GGG for the fight.
