Secondly, AJ is a position to control everything at the negotiation table which doesn't come often! After Dela Hoya left the fight game only Floyd, Manny, Cotto, & now Canelo are the only fighters to be in this type of position. You don't give that power up for the money! Having that type of power will bring AJ possibly $500 million over the rest of his career. I hate to say it but Wilder needs AJ much more than AJ needs him. Averaging $1.5 million per fight is great money for Wilder but AJ is making 15x's more! If the fight is made in the U.K., AJ will still make close to $50 million & possibly more depending on the PPV buys in the U.S. but the only difference is most of his purse will come on the back end compared to the offer Haymon provided with the $50 million paid up front with no control over negotiations. Having power will keep you rich forever! Just ask the wealthy!!

They are just building the excuses for their fanboys. It's time for Wilder's team to call their bluff again (for a 3rd time) and accept wherever they can get. I would understand if they don't accept it, but I really want them to

All this week the headlines were that Wilder supposedly didn't want to fight in the UK.
Now that Team Wilder has come out and said that the UK is not a problem we start hearing that he "must be realistic."
I knew that Joshua would come up with another roadblock. That's all this coward does.

Hoping Wilder just calls Hearns bluff and accepts this deal and goes over and takes AJ's belts.
Im suprised team Wilder hasn't come out to the media and told us what the deal is worth.
Maybe Wilders really considering to take it.
Fingers crossed.

Wilder needs to be realistic? Lol. wasn't AJ the one saying "get me 50m and I'll fight Wilder". them boys on the other side need to make up their minds, everything AJ says is pretty much BS. He's proven he isn't a Man of his word Your word is your bond. Keep your trap shut cause your a$s writing checks you can't cash

Citing that according to his representation, the fight is worth a lot more than Team AJ is claiming, as much as $100M in revenue. AJ then shoots his mouth off stating that if the fight is worth $100M, guarantee him $50M, and the fight is on. Team Wilder then calls his bluff, guarantees AJ his $50M. But understandably, since they’re gonna finance the event, they wanna call the shots. The biggest shot being holding the fight in the US. You wouldn’t think that would be a problem. I mean, AJ would be getting his $50M guarantee. But all of a sudden, AJ has a change of heart, and says he’s willing to fight for less money, but the fight has to be in the U.K. Wilder again says no problem. And now all of a sudden Wilder needs to be realistic. Realistic about what? What new roadblock has Team AJ created that Wilder needs to be realistic about?

Hes getting just 10 Million more then his highest pay if it is a 50 Million dollar U.K fight , what backwards logic is that when Wilder hasnt even generated 3 Million but he gets 20 ( 40 % ) ?
In Short ( for Wilder fans ) ....Applying Wilders DEMAND of 40% !
You want Joshua to earn 10 Million more in a mega fight and want Wilder to earn 18 Million more then his highest pay even though this revenue is generated bc of Joshua ?? lol
Road blocks doe !Last edited by juggernaut666; 06-06-2018, 11:50 PM.

Not unlike strategy in the ring I believe Hearn is employing a strategy-like mindset to when they wanna fight their biggest threat (unless Fury is back tomorrow, although if he's back tomorrow we might not know it tomorrow cuz of the caliber of opponent, but you get what I mean) & part of that strategy is in deciding when, where & for how much this fight will happen.
And they want it in the UK or the US after a couple US fights that aren't Wilder to get a US following. They want it a year or two from now when Wilder has gotten a lil older or has even gotten himself beaten & the blueprint for beating Wilder is more exposed & Wilder no longer has that 0 that makes guys fight a lil harder to keep. And they want it for max money possible & that'll be in the US after Joshua has had a couple fights there & ideally more people know of Wilder & want to see this fight more than they do currently.
Nothing happening with cowards here doe thats for sure.
