With Canelo-GGG looking dead, and the IBF just stripping GGG, I expect the WBC to now enforce the Charlo mandatory defense.

I hope this fight gets made. And I hope that unlike the GGG-Jacobs negotiations that dragged on for 6 months, that if they cant make this deal quickly that Loeffler just sends it to purse bid and lets get on with it......

if it goes to bid, then whoever wins picks the network partner.


which would be interesting if GGGs side were to lose the purse bid, I dont know if his HBO contract would allow him to fight off-HBO. Its possible they could file for an injunction to prevent him from fighting.

considering HBOs reduced interest in boxing these days, hopefully they wouldnt do that.....
