they applied for an exemption, which was approved..... but then they failed to meet the exemption criteria

just like the IBF ordered him to fight Derevyanchenko

considering the fact that Golovkin just priced himself out of the Canelo fight, and Canelo is about to commit to Jacobs..... should Golovkin fight Charlo next, or not?

Should have fought Derevyachenko instead of Vanes.... don’t know why he took Vanes cause I would have heavily favoured him to also beat Derevyachenko albeit in less one sided fashion. Team GGG dropped the ball big time but despite that he’s still the man at 160.

Must be confusing me with someone else because I was all for him facing SD. Same as I'd be for him defending against Charlo next when ordered.

Said this before the Vanes bout.

Should have Golovkin given up 5/5 & Fought BJS or Dev this summer...of course! However, once again it would jeopardize the rematch with Canelo & every one of us would make the same choice. So what's the problem? It's just haters hatin'. Golovkin is supposed to take the mandatory no matter the cost even though Canelo dropped the belt rather than fighting his in GGG? I actually hope he does take on Dev & smokes the crap outta him, but it's not the wise choice.

At the high levels it doesn't. Belts are more of a stepping stone especially with how corrupt the rankings and manadatoriy rules are.

Floyd didn't need no belts to make a cool 285M against Mc******.
