Logically it makes no sense to denigrate an opponent against the fighter you’re backing. It accomplishes nothing, in fact it can be potentially damaging if the opponent has a good showing. If someone were a “fanboy” they would do anything in their capacity to elevate their fighter even if that means inflating the importance of the opponent rather than diminishing them. Your post runs counter to what you’re trying to imply

my post doesnt run counter to anything...did you read it? i said when they thought jacobs was ducking over money(there were many rumors that jacobs had financial demands that were stalling getting the fight signed)

during that period, when they thought jacobs was looking for a way out, they slandered jacobs....because they thought the fight wasnt going to happen
