Vitali was unlucky with that cut, was winning, and wanted to continue

so a win doesnt count if its by cuts then? who caused the cut? if vitali was so good he'd have put the pressure on (having been aware of the cut) and stopped the 40 year old, but he couldnt, and he lost.

Lol Yes it counts but it was more of a lucky break than really beating VItali.

Oh, and do some research, Lennox was 36 years old, not 40. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Hopefully this some rounds. An early ko would be no bueno coming off that long ass layoff.

This fight is a joke sure, but have you seen the footage of Fury training? He looks SHARP. Of course he needs to get some rounds in before fighting another top guy. It isn't like Joshua will fight him if he looks good since AJ doesn't seem eager to actually fight anyone. Maybe he can fight Wilder once that fight falls through? Either way Fury is the man who beat the man. Until someone actually beats him he's the real champ.

no-one's saying the win doesn't count, a win is not always just a win. it says a lot that Lewis rejected the rematch, and retired (there was talk of Lewis' wife giving him an ultimatum at that time, 'it's either boxing or me', kind of thing...) and i think Steward was happy to see Lewis retire on top after that fight

one thing i will say is that Lewis was adept at working the wound once Vitali was cut, but still, it was lucky it turned out the way it did

Fury hoping this man will give him rounds. I'm sure he will If fury only hits him at 50% full force. Don't put full force into punches. Only use a rm punches

The info is on this site somewhere I think. I think he's trying to get a couple of cans in for sure. All he needs is to go the distance a few times and he's good cuz honestly he's a distance fighter. He can get all this done under 18-24 months.

Just halfway through the fight and he got stopped....his face was ripped off and by the 6th round klitchcko was starting to unravel at the seams and lewis took the 5th and 6th rounds......i don't know if you know that a world title boxing contest is over 12 rounds and not 6 lol.
Lewis was 38 and beyond his prime and still beat his face to minced beef
