Comments Thread For: Crawford: Is Ref Supposed to Let Horn Head-Butt, Hold & Hit?

Terence Crawford laughed off comments made by Jeff Horn's trainer regarding referee Robert Byrd's need to allow Horn to fight the way he has grown accustomed Saturday night. Glenn Rushton, Horn's trainer, reiterated during a conference call Tuesday that he'll urge Byrd to let the Horn-Crawford fight flow, without constantly breaking Horn and Crawford apart at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (ESPN+).

Bud already shook looks like Horn is in his head bad. This is going to be ugly for Crawford, Horn stops him late!

I like the quiet confidence of Crawford. He doesn’t say to much cute stuff.
Just makes his point and let’s it hang out on fight night.

he hasnt reached floyd status yet. if and when he does, expect changes. i believe floyd wasnt the floyd we all know today when he was younger either. when he was still "pretty boy" he wasnt that vocal.

This is the worst ref they could have assigned to this fight Robert Byrd has slowed down tremendously in the past years and if you watch the fight and as in past fights in the recent 2 years he is too far away from the fighters to make a quick move in for any infraction or something that is happening he is really as the saying goes" lost a step"... how is a Hall of Fame ref is beyond me Bayless and Tony Weeks are far better... I get the feeling Crawford is going to go out and try to establish himself physically early in the fight but I think this might be playing into Bud's hand ...I take Crawford by a TKO late...

                    Less reffing and more fighting.
Boxer/puncher vs fighter/brawler. I like the match up!
