Swollen coke face ****** de la hoya and his ped taking boxer pull out of May fight because canelo got caught taking drugs and yet still think ggg shouldn't get even share of money. Cheating cowards. De la hoyas wife knows all about his cheating. Maybe she could be taken on as an advisor by ggg

If they don’t fight each other and Canelo fights Jacobs cool I’m down , if he fights Spike then that’s a pile of sh.it and not worth watching , If Gennady fights Saunders , Charlo or Devrechenko Cool if it’s another Vanes then f.uck that also
First there is no way Gennady deserves 50% it’s not happening but Canelo has wasted a year of Gennadys career because his insistence on only fighting on Mexican holidays and because he popped dirty and f.ucked up the rematch , If Gennady took the rematch he’ll probably also lose one of his straps. I would figure a small % increase for Gennady is justifiable because he’s being punished for Canelo at best negligence at worst cheating
they are each other biggest payday by far so it’s not only Gennady losing $ it’ll take Canelo anywhere from 2-4 fights to make the $ he would have made from a Gennady rematch and probably 3-6 fights for Gennady
But whatever if it happens cool if not who cares. I’m sure both will continue to bank many millions for years so it’s not like either are struggling

Let's remember that their first two offers to Golovkin were 90-10 split & a flat fee. It took over a year for them to work that deal & only finally accepted once GGG settled for 30%. Expect Gomez to have sent a similar low ball offer to Hearns knowing they'll not accept it & will have to counter. Canelo then still has a couple weeks to decide whether to counter again, all the while still talking to team GGG in the background.
All respect to Canelo if he actually does fight Jacobs next & putting that L at risk for much less money than he'd make vs Golovkin.
I've said it all along that the best thing for the division is a mini-tournament between the top 4 MW's. Let GGG fight BJS & the other two guys Golovkin already beat can determine themselves who deserves the rematch next year.Last edited by factsarenice; 06-06-2018, 02:49 AM.

But when the difference is up to 20 million dollars then there comes a point when you gotta swallow your pride and think with your brain, not your balls!
20 million is allot of money to pass up on just cause you think your not being treated fairly and not getting the respect he feels he deserves...
Course... if this is a bluff by team GGG to get some movement on the 35% and it goes wrong then, yeah, that'd be pretty dumb, but if I was them I'd probably keep that to myself..
Another alternative, of course, is that GGG doesn't want to fight Canelo - for whatever reason - but can't simply walk away because he could potentially be stripped (Canelo remains mandatory, apparently), although if this was the case I'd be asking why he didn't just demand the full champions split.

Quit acting like an emotional little girl and stop being sensitive. You think Canelo or Oscar give a fucc that Triple g got the short end of the stick in May?? Fucc no they don't! That has nothing to do with the ongoing negotiations. The sooner Triple g and all his little nuttrider fans realize that Canelo doesn't owe him anything besides what he's entitled too then the sooner the rematch can get signed. That simple!

absolutely agree..... that much is clearly obvious
" but Canelo has wasted..... "
HOLD ON !!
how does making an absurd demand.,.... an absurd demand that he knows will never happen..... and an absurd demand that he knows will kill the fight..... either, help him..... or punish Canelo?
you are literally suggesting that Gennady just sulked his way out of a $25mil payday
come on
they obviously want to delay/defer Gennady's retirement payday
to enable them to select yet another no-hoper..... so that Gennady can break Hopkins record, without breaking a sweat..... most likely before retiring, because he clearly has no interest in unifying with Saunders
But your hatred for Golovkin has made you believe this fallacy that he wants this as a retirement fight. When he’s been chasing this fight for years and it wasn’t made until Oscar believed that he aged Golovkin enough to make it competitive l. Was the first fight a retirement fight ?
These are the facts Because of Canelos insistence of only fighting on Mexican holidays and popping dirty he has wasted a substantial amount of Gennadys career waiting for Canelo. If he fights Canelo next hes also losing a strap because of Canelo testing dirty. They are also each other’s biggest paydays. So Gennady should waste his career and lose a strap because Canelos most likely A cheater l. I think we can agree Gennady deserves a higher % from the agreed rematch contract because of of the BS he’s been through because of Canelo
They are each other’s biggest payday l. If Golovkins willing to balk at 15-25 million then Canelo unwilling to negotiate is going to
Cost him 30-50 million.
Because Canelo fighting Spike , Jacobs does probably 250-400k PPV so Canelo and GB will probably be taking a even bigger paycut then Golovkin
The hater in you hopes that Gennady doesn’t fight Saunders , Devrechenko or Charlo( no way he fights Charlo IMO ) next so you can continue to sh.itting on him and ignoring that before Vanes he just fought the 2 best MWs , but I’ll bet he takes on one of the top MW next whether it’s Saunders for all the straps , Devrechenko because of the Mando or Murata if it proves to be a big $ fight. He won’t fight Charlo IMo because the $ not there and he has a good chance of losing that fight.

He definitely wants to fight Canelo but he's being unreasonable with his demand. If this is a bluff on Triple g's part then it can definitely backfire on him. They already bumped it up to 40% so I think that's more than fair. I'm sure Triple g and his family are set for life but still..... Who wouldn't want more money to secure more of your family's future?
