  • Comments Thread For: Jeff Horn: This is The Fight That Will Silence all The Critics

By Thomas Gerbasi - Glenn Rushton says the same thing to Jeff Horn just before it's time for them to make the walk to the ring for the next battle. "We're here because we want to be here. No one's forcing us to do this. We want to do this. Let's get up here and entertain these people. We're living the dream." It has been a dream-like scenario for the pair since July of last year, when Horn stunned the boxing world with an upset decision victory over...

I hope so but somehow I doubt that beating Horn will silence the critics. They'll say that Jeff Horn was just Carlos Baldomir with makeup and a fake accent.

“Manny just smiled because he didn’t know he’d nearly have the fight stopped by the ref in the corner before the 10th because of the punishment Jeff took the prior round, or of the lot of headbutts he’d take illegally, or of the swashbuckler shenanigan judging at the end. Manny just smiled.” I don’t give a **** about EITHER of those guys, but if Horn’s team can truthfully watch that fight and truthfully...TRUTHFULLY say, “Yeah I think we won”, then Jeff is going to be back teaching kids in a fight or two.
Suffice to say, there will be no hometown judging needed in this next fight. And you will see why Crawford is the truth. Hope he dedicates this one to Manny lol. And then I hope that Manny doesn’t fight him, because he was prime past when he beat Horn.

If he beats Crawford, I mean seriously, no odd decisions, I'll put him on my P4P list. Right up there with Loma. Even if he loses a close war I'll give him some credit, but not if it turns out like everybody thinks. Crawford will surround him, his footwork is too good. He'll get to that eye, his punches are accurate and horn doesn't move his head enough. I will definitely give Horn credit if he can get around all that.

It's time to walk the talk! This is Horn's defining moment- good or bad. Talking to much will take you further or humiliate you a lot. No Mexican meat & no excuses amigos!

I would be crazy but probably won't happen. Crawford is just too explosive.

The onnly thing he has going is he is a bigger guy

I like the kid, hope he gives a fair account of himself and earns more respect. He’s old fashioned but that’s not a bad thing.

This dude is trash. He stands no chance against Crawfish. I see him getting dq’d for excessive holding or low blows. What I hope I see is Crawford landing a huge uppercut and putting him to sleep
