People might have forgotten, but the Aussies are a bit goofy when it comes to combat sports. They actually banned Floyd from the continent of Australia. They also tried banning MMA and some in govt are still working toward that. Of course Bud doesn't trust them now that they have a prospect who stumbled his way onto the world level.
Should he have banned them? I don't think so. But, I understand why.

I think Crawford's problem is he is a nice quiet no-nonsense guy which is normally a good thing unless you are trying to promote a fight which he seems to be terrible at.

You may be right but who gives a damn? If the fans don't pay attention to or show interest in Bud because he's not a loud mouth braggart they're not real fans anyways. This is pro boxing not wrestling. Anyone who is a real fan will respect and follow him because of his skills inside the ring and not because he's a trash talker. Personally, I also enjoy flamboyant fighters who trash talk outside the ring but if they don't deliver the goods in the ring they are just that, media clowns.
