  • Comments Thread For: Horn's Promoter Erupts on Crawford's Manager Over Media Ban

Jeff Horn's promoter says the decision by Terence Crawford's camp to ban Australian media is a perfect example of why the pound-for-pound sensation is barely known outside of the boxing world. Duco Events boss Dean Lonergan reckons the unbeaten former unified champion should seek new management after his co-manager/trainer, Brian McIntyre, allegedly told travelling Australian media they would not be allowed to speak to Crawford because they would "twist our words".

Just shows the ignorance on display within the American boxing establishment once again, as if the Floyd era didn't do that enough already. You're going to ban the Australian media because they will "twist words"? But yeah keep talking to certain racist youtube channels starting with the letter D or E, because they never ever twist words! LOL that's all they do.

What? You're a damn fool. Floyd loved the media and attention. Crawford hates the media and even banned his hometown papers from interviews. You dont even know what the hell you're talking about.

Hahahahaha, Crawford is focused on the beating he'll hand out. Afterwards, Horn and his team will realize they talked to the media too much.

I think Crawford's problem is he is a nice quiet no-nonsense guy which is normally a good thing unless you are trying to promote a fight which he seems to be terrible at.

Crawford is bad with the media. He banned his hometown papers. I've seen boxing writers on Twitter complain about getting a Crawford interview. I've seen people on youtube complain about getting interviews. Crawford is a great talent but you need the media to help you grow your brand. Yea they're gonna be unfair but do we really care what the Australian media is saying about Crawford in Australia?
