Former world champion Carl Frampton has gained the upper hand in his ongoing legal battle with ex-manager and promoter Barry McGuigan. The two sides are battling it out at the North Ireland High Court. The Belfast fighter claims that he wasn't paid properly under an arrangement which "unjustly enriched" McGuigan and his company, Cyclone Promotions.

Yeah! There saying Framptons dad gave McGuigan $1million and McGuigan saying it was $220,000. Plus they had multiple branches of the company using various names to move $$$ around in and hard track sht.

Barry has always come across as very disingenuous, it’s funny in karmic proportions that they wouldn’t even be on the back foot in court if they didn’t initially sue and encourage a counter claim.

I really hope they take everything that Barry has, I said this when he filed his case against Carl and posters were scratching at me at that time. He was a greedy bas*tard who exploit Carl innocence to the tilt. Until Carl understands the fight game and fought himself away from him, instead of letting it slide he then decides to pursue Carl for breach of contract. He was bankrupt, used his name (Belfast) to price Carl away Hearn and then took advantage of him.
