UK PPV is only 19.95 pounds? Or about 25 bucks, right?

        So that's 25 x 1 million = 25 million

Let's break this down. 4.2 x 100 = 420 million + 55 million gate + 25 million from UK + probably another 25 million from other countries buying the rights to televise the fight in their country.

That's 525 million; hell, let's just say 550 million throw inanother 25 million to be generous.

Off that, 45% is what is being split between the fighters. So 550(.45) = 250 million (rounding up to make it easier).

Now, of that 250 million, do we know how much Floyd got, and how much Conor got? I know they were guaranteed 100 million, and 30 million, respectively. But how much would that remaining 120 million be split? Probably Floyd 70%? So that's another 80ish million for Floyd.

180 million for Floyd BEFORE taxes and managerial fees (Haymon).

After manager fees, and taxes, Floyd MIGHT have cleared 100 million.

LOL 285 million. SMH.. Again, doe, that's amazing how much Floyd can generate for himself in one night's work. But when I see people talking like Floyd made 300 million, I chuckle.

UK Money is pennies added on top. It only generated 20M in the UK, which is pennies in the US PPV Market.

So around $27 mil is pennies in the US market? How many US fights have made more than that this year?

Yeah Conor was under contract with the UFC also. Ive heard they took 30% of his payday. I bet after taxes and UFC Conor got maybe 10 mil.

The Main PPV Fights have, which were Canelo-GGG and in this case which we were talking about is Mayweather v Mcgregor. UK Money was pennies on top for Mayweather v Mcgregor."UK fans thinking cos we got 90K people in stadiums, we can compete with the big boys in the US"- you guys are so cute.

yeah, standard promotor cut is 27%. Conor probably made more than that, but he didn't clear anywhere close to the 100 million people think he made.

just like floyd didn't clear anywhere near the 300 million people think he made.

Floyd may not have a promoter, but he does have a manaegr, and one of the most expensive, in Haymon. Manager fees are usually 10-25%. Haymon prolly got 10-15% from Floyd's purse.

But the main point people are forgetting, is that the distributor takes 10% (HBo, SHowtime), and the cable companies take a whopping 45%!!

So of that 500-600 million this fight generated in total gross revenue, only 45% of that is what was available for Conor and Floyd to split 70-30.
