Floyd is done, plenty of fighters beat him now.

Today? Duhhhh Floyd is a 40 year old retired fighter and Errol is in the very prime of his career.

Really weird that people even feel the need to talk about a young lion like Spence fighting a guy who is retired and in his 40's. Was Floyd really that godly that this warrants debate? Lol.People still obsessed with taking any swipe possible against Floyd.

Of course Spence would KO Floyd at this stage of their respective fighting level. Even if they were both in their prime, I would have to give Errol the upper hand. Spence has the kind of pressure, power, chin that would give Floyd all sorts of trouble....added to all Spence's advantages, he's also quite skilled. Even Chino and Castillo gave Floyd all that he could barely handle. Cotto gave Floyd hell and he wasn't even a fighter that could fight a full 12 rounds at that point of his career. Cotto and DeLahoya were always gassing after 6 rounds. DeLahoya was a part time fighter that blew up in weight between fights (f@tass), did lots of booze and coke at the stage he fought Floyd. I highly doubt that a prime Mayweather could beat Delahoya and Cotto would have given Floyd even more problems if he was in his prime.

I guess Spence isn't absolutely proven yet, but it sure appears like he would be a very difficult fight for Mayweather even if they were both in their prime. If it was a fight that took place after 2015, FMJ would have been KO'd almost certainly.

              Agree.

An old, small, inactive 40 year old Floyd would get ran over by the much bigger and fresher Spence.

I don’t see how Floyd keeps him at bay once Spence finds his rhythm

At his age now Mayweather wouldn’t be able to take the punishment. His legs are shot and his hands have been brittle for a long time now. It is remarkable with all the injuries that he has had as long of a boxing career.

It's like saying George Groves would beat Calzaghe if they fought now. What's the point in comparing an active fighter to an old retired one.

Floyd is the only boxer in history that magically never exited his prime.

there is a reason he avoided margarito.
I'd take Prime Floyd over Prime Spence . Brook was giving Spence s tough time before he broke him down . Even Lamont got a couple shots in on Errol.
