Mickey vs loma is a great fight n i think mickey might get him in the end im not 100% though bc mickey hasnt fought anyone like loma b4. as 4 tank if he can stay focus n not get frustrated like linares did then id take tank for that fight

I've not seen any of that.

One of the reasons people like Loma is because he wants to achieve greatness. He does that by challenging himself.

That means Loma has a fanbase that likes him because he isn't ducking anyone. Fans that wouldn't like the idea of him ducking. Fans that won't make up crap excuses for him to duck anyone.

I don't think there is a better or more exciting fight to be made than Loma-Mikey. I see it as a real 50/50 fight, although I'll be backing Loma of course.
There isn't a single fight that I would rather see.

Loma fans respect his courage and ambition.

I'm not seeing this trend that you think you are seeing, and given the type of fighter that Loma is and why he is so respected, I'd be surprised if that trend was real at all.

Well Mikey has not only called out Loma several times, but even ambushed one of his interviews and Loma still won’t commit to a fight with him, and their at the same weight which makes it worse !

Tank and Loma are not even currently in the same division, so y are we fixated on a fight that is less probable ?

Dont know much about boxing i see, garcia moved to 140 to fight broner, arum called robert garcia a little while ago about the fight as robert garcia admitted in a video, lomachenko called out tank when he was at 130, is there anything else i can set you straight about jnr

I have to agree. Another coddled fighter who won’t dare take chances to be great, reminiscent of GGG. Made Rigo make all kinda weight concessions to make the fight. Now he’s anxious for tank to move up and fight him in his first fight at 135, in addition to proclaiming he ain’t ready for Garcia in his 2nd fight at 135.

I can’t with this guy. And let’s be honest with ourselves, he probably thought that Mikey was moving up from 135 . That’s probably the only reason he moved up last fight.

At least Kovalev, despite getting scalped by Ward, is willing and ready to fight the best and toughest in his division. You’ll never hear Kov say some sissy s.hit like “I need more time before I fight Bertibiev”

Kinda reminds me of how ward wanted ggg to make all the concession in weight to move up to face him for his first fight at smw.

Loma IN HIS SECOND FIGHT fought a tuff champ out weighing him by 20 lbs. he NEVER hurt Loma and was on the verge of KOing salido at the end. Garcia was getting beat up last 3 rds and had to get the doctor to allow /save him to quit on his stool. you are the idiot that made a big thing about Loma "losing" so why would not you think ONLY a fighter can be good if he cherry pics his way to perfect record. you did not tell me if all those fighters I listed were sh it cause they lost. you are full of it and you want Garcia the quitter to fight Loma cause he is so much bigger and might beat him

Mikey Garcia at 25 years old put a one-sided beating on Salido, knocking him down multiple times and winning basically every round. The only time he was ever hurt was when Salido heatbutted him and broke his nose.

You should rewatch the fight if you think Garcia was getting beat up in the last 3 rounds. Salido had decent success in Round 6 and 7, but he was still struggling to land clean whilst Garcia was picking his punches and clearly landing the better shots.

In the last round (Round 8) Garcia went back to dominating Salido. He constantly landed on Salido's chin whilst Salido struggled to land anything. The only good shot Salido landed in that round was the headbutt. According to Compubox Garcia outlanded Salido 25 punches to 7 punches in Round 8. That is the opposite of 'getting beat up'. Garcia actually outlanded Salido in EVERY SINGLE ROUND OF THE FIGHT according to Compubox, and landed exactly DOUBLE the amount of punches that Salido landed in the entire fight.

Why should a fighter be forced carry on fighting and risk permanently damaging his nose when the damage was caused by an ILLEGAL HEADBUTT? The doctor did the right thing stopping the fight. Mikey already proved he was much better than Salido anyway.

Meanwhile, Lomachenko at 26 years got dogged out and bullied around the ring by Salido for the majority of the fight. In Lomachenko's defence Salido was 10 pounds heavier (not 20) and was fighting dirty, but Salido was also fighting dirty versus Mikey, getting away with multiple low blows in that fight as well, but Mikey dealt with them and put a beating on Salido which Lomachenko was unable to do.

Let's be real - Davis is a lightweight trying to stretch out 130 as long as possible for the power advantage.

He'll either miss weight again,or move up on his own in his next few fights.

Loma can make 130 easier than Davis.

Loma will fight Tank but is clearly trying to do so with an advantage. Tank however does not sound or seem confident in regards to fighting Loma at the moment. I think Tank "can" beat him. Has the tools to do it but he would need to be mentally ready if he wants to win that one.

Nor does the idea that a fighter who is loved for his willingness to chase greatness somehow has a fanbase that wants him to duck challenges.
