I don’t buy the narrative that Lomachencko was dropped by Linares due to being lax or overconfident. Linares times him all night, landed that same shot several times, and had several other near misses.

If Loma fights Beltran, and then Davis, I doubt he'll ever face Mikey @ 135! Hopefully the fight is in May 2019! Canelo would have to find someone special, or Mikey will be the man on Cinco de Mayo 2019!

You like to talk about how Davis would do this and that, but don't want to see him do it.
This kid isn't as good as you think. Have him step up or what's the point of talking. You're probably fine with seeing Davis fight the Tevin Farmer's of the World. Farmer isn't all that great for people that actually think he is.

Davis didn't look so great in the Mayweather-McGregor undercard.
Davis is only power and athleticism. There is a few different ways to beat Davis. I already see it. I don't think anyone at 130 is good enough to do it, Loma being at 135 now, so I'll give Davis that much credit, but Loma and Mikey would beat him. That's why he probably wants to befriend Mikey instead of fighting him.

Let's see Davis move up or what's the point in having all of his fans trash talk about how he can beat this guy and that guy, but not actually want to see him do it now?

Surely it can't be age because fighters that are of similar age or even younger are fighting or willing to fight top opposition. Jaime Munguia was willing to fight GGG on short notice. He is two years younger than Davis. That's a real boss. Munguia didn't hide behind his fans.
It can't be pro inexperience. He already has 20 fights. Other fighters are competing against top level opposition with less fights. He's been a pro for 5 years already.
So what is it? You guys are talking about how he can do all these things, but want to wait 3 years for him to do it.

There are already guys coming up in the pros and amateurs, that compete around the same weight class, that have more potential than Davis. He isn't the future of anything. Even if Davis avoids Loma and Mikey someone on the come up will beat this guy.

interesting how your whole post seems to revolve around will Davis fight or avoid fighting Mikey, when this whole thread and mostly all boxing fans are concerned about when Loma will fight Garcia because it’s a super fight.

First it was GRJ that was going to embarrass Loma. Then it was Walters. Then Rigo was going to break his jaw. Now it's Mikey. Mikey wont quit... but surely he will look ****** like the other guys.

Maybe it’s me, but when my favorite fighter, Andre Ward agreed to fight Kovalev, I was excited for the fight because I knew Kovalev was a good and dangerous fighter and I wanted to see how my favorite fighters skills would measure up.


Now with many GGG and Loma fans I’m noticing a trend of not wanting or caring for them to fight real serious threats/challenges. All sorts of excuses were made for ggg when Ward said he’d go back to 168 to fight him. All u heard was “Why don’t he go up and fight Kov”

Well Mikey has not only called out Loma several times, but even ambushed one of his interviews and Loma still won’t commit to a fight with him, and their at the same weight which makes it worse !

Tank and Loma are not even currently in the same division, so y are we fixated on a fight that is less probable ?
