          They are all sons of boxers, also is not like Floyd Sr's results were hard to surpass by Jr, Floyd Sr was a good fighter that blew his chance because of drugs but without Jr he would be mentioned as often as Roger Leonard or Rahman Ali.

          drugs? He got shot in the leg and couldnt fight anymore. He didnt go to jail until the 90s

            If he hit harder than his dad he should not have needed 4 rounds to win his first fight. His dad was a world champion at 21 years of age and he is just turning pro at 29.

                  Isn't power actually one of the very last things to go? Speed and reflexes fade away fast, with some people already soon after 30 or so, but power and strength stays for longer as far as I know / have heard. I might be wrong though

                      believe me, if you grew up comfy you would not want to have the life roberto duran had in his youth needed to be hardened and ready for 100 professional fights and damn near 10 weight classes.
