Im just going off the purses Loeffler usually offers and what they offered last time.

HBO doesnt have a lot of $$$ and has no clue what their doing with Boxing now days. The fight would have to be on PPV. I can see GGG getting around $5 million and Saunders around $2. This fight would be a hard sale?? I mean Lemuix numbers were actually worse than with Stevenson

How much do you really think they can afford to pay Saunders??? Maybe it would be worth more overseas???

Well, I see this fight being in the UK, just for the money.
GGG getting at least 10M and Saunders doing more like 5 to 7M
that fight would sell very good in the UK.

of course released purses will be like 4-5M for Golovkin and 2-3 for Saunders. But we all know they end up getting more after the earnings of the fight itself

But a fight with golovkin for any fighter will at least give you 2M( I think thats what DJ got right, im not counting vanes they just wanted another WMJr ,for peanuts)

Selby wasn't a bad champ you ****. He faced his mandatories and also fought when he had personal problems going on.
He was the one on the rough end when Barros was ruled out of fighting him in Vegas on the day before the fight.

Doubt it but not impossible. Canelo not gonna let GGG have the last Middleweight belt. Oscar gonna make Billy Joe a very rich man to keep him away from Golovkin. Expect Canelo vs. BJS in Vegas for Mexican independence weekend.

You would think that would be what they are thinking but imo i think Oscar will go for Spike first if GGG doesnt sign to give Canelo a softer fight first.
One of the reasons i think the GGG fight wont get made first is cause Canelo being out for a year.

Those figures sound high. US network wouldn't pay so much for an afternoon fight with no US interest. BJS doesn't have a massive profile here, at least outside hardcore fans. They'd likely be fighting on BT Sport's PPV channel unless they can do some kind of cross promotion with Sky. That would limit their audience.

Not saying it wouldn't be a big fight, but the figures you're talking about look on the high side. We just had massive promotion for two loudmouthed British heavyweights with big UK profiles on Sky Sports and it didn't make close to those numbers.

I've heard from some good sources that Saunders is an absolutely brutal street fighter. But i've also heard he's a total d1ck because he knows people won't mess with him. Like the time he was filmed on the phone talking to a guy saying that he ****ed the guys wife.

I rate him as a fighter and like seeing him fight but he's a nasty piece of work in real life by all accounts, or used to be anyway.

I've heard the same thing, you can tell that he's like that in a few interviews. I remember watching one where he showed the interviewer one of his techniques.

Went up to the man with his hand out apologising saying he didn't want trouble then when in range swing a right hook quickly lol.
