I think this fight would sell out his beloved Goodison Park (to all y'all gun totin, freedom loving fatties on the other side of the Atlantic it's Everton Football Clubs stadium).

I don't like Bellew but I do think he has a chance against Fury, the build up in itself would also be hilarious!

Hearn / Warren would deserve medals if they could sell that many tickets for a Bellew fight. Jesus.

Also, didn't Tony shat himself when he saw the size of Wilder? I know Fury isn't as concussive a puncher, but he's even bigger than Wilder. Not sure how Bellew thinks he'd get past the jab. Seeking to cash out I think...

Wilder was all risk and no where near the financial reward of a Fury fight. People are complaining its a crap one sided fight but it beats watching Fury tumble over some guys that arent even heard of for his next few fights.

Could Wilder or Miller break the top five, Wilder vs Ortiz sold a few tickets not a sell out though (and that's against a good opponent), too many years of avoiding fights. Millers got the mouth but doesn't seem to attract the numbers yet (if ever).

We really need a big name American heavyweight to come through and draw some crowds stateside.

He did not sell out Goodison Park that night. That was before he beat Haye and became a heavyweight superstar..... Bellew will go down with the greats for beating Haye.

More respect for him if he went into the WSSB but I understand he got PAID well for Haye.

It all depends how Fury wants to fight him. If he dropped his hands and had a brawl ala Cunningham, i think it would be great. However if Fury got on the back foot and used his jab, then yeah, mismatch because Bellew won't be able to get anywhere near him.

I think a lot of people would be willing to put down money to see Bellew beaten up.

Fury is struggling to sell out the Manchester Arena and you only sold out the O2 because of David Haye.

It would sell a lot of tickets to be fair, but no - not 70/80k.

I think Tony's getting a bit ahead of himself.

To be fair to Bellew for a boxer who you would describe as "good not great" if you were being generous, he's certainly earned himself a lotta dough.

Its acceptable for Fury to be fighting a 39 y/o career cruiser weight who nobody has heard of but Bellew is not acceptable.
