Comments Thread For: Murray Skeptical of Saunders' Injury; Fight Postponed Again
Promoter Frank Warren confirmed through his Twitter account Sunday that the Billy Joe Saunders-Martin Murray fight has been postponed again. England's Saunders (26-0, 12 KOs) was supposed to defend his WBO middleweight title against Murray (36-4-1, 17 KOs) on June 23 at O2 Arena in London, but according to Warren, the champion has suffered another injury.

So many fights I was hoping to see are being cancelled. That’s it, I’m sad!

Hopefully Martin Murray gets compensated for his training camps, it's a big shame for his fans who for the 2nd time have booked tickets and hotel rooms but for a full unification against Golovkin or a big money fight against Canelo I can't blame Billy Joe.
Murray should get a warm-up fight in so as not to waste camp, even a 4 rounder just to stay active.
Billy Joe Saunders v Golovkin at the Emirates Stadium in London, 60,000 sell - out easily with GGG on the card, August Bank Holiday 2018 is my dream fight to happen next.
Because we all know Joshua v Wilder isn't happening this year.
I feel Canelo will fight Spike O'Sullivan in September anyway.

Saunders will fight Golovkin next. Canelo will price himself out of the fight with his (and gbp) insistance on an unfair purse percentage. BJS knows he can make big money fighting in his home country and I am sure Golovkin will forsake vegas for a unification. I think GGG is quite tired of vegas and the corruption that comes along with it. Saunders will be well compensated in a fight with Golovkin.
