I'd be shocked if they went for Ortiz. It's not a final eliminator no matter what the WBC say, I mean WTF is a 2nd final eliminator and what are the chances of Whyte getting a shot inside a year when Wilder didn't fight a mandatory for close to 3 years.

The Pulev situation isn't ideal with them losing the bid, but I'm far more confident Whyte beats an old and disinterested Pulev than an old Ortiz. But you never know, remember Hearn threw Brook in with GGG and also made the Brook/Spence fight when many thought it best Brook duck the fight and move up. Joshua/Wlad was also a risky fight to take, so Hearn is known to roll the dice at times.

C'mon Hearn, don't **** this up! Let Dillan fight Pulev, and then make Big Baby Miller vs. King Kong Oriz! Can Big Baby eat? If Big Baby can't get Ortiz, can he get Pulev?

I would like to see Ortiz vs Whyte and if I’m honest I believe Ortiz handles him easy. However if Whyte is still standing in the 9th he wins.

Me personally I will take the Ortiz fight. If the fight is a barnstormer even if he loses his stock goes up similar to Ortiz. If he goes ahead and fights Pulev nobody cares.Though I can’t blame him and who should? He beats Pulev in a somewhat easier fight than Ortiz and becomes mandatory. If he goes the WBC route, he fights Ortiz, then has to fight again to be mandatory. That’s bull****

Lol.. Dillian Whyte the U.K Shyte.. no where to run.. no where to hide.. when "A Superman J" beat a 41 year old klitschko coming off a two year layoff loss.. he was the greatest thing.. when wilder beat a 38 year old undefeated active south paw.. ortiz was nothing, even whyte said Wilder's victory didn't count and that ortiz was a 60,000 year old bum.. all of super gay J's fans where all defending whyte.. saying ortiz is overated and old.. a bum etc. Now hearns is saying ortiz is a much tougher fight than pulev! When whyte has to back up that noise.. smh.. Ortiz is 2nd best heavyweight behind wilder only. I know why hearns ducked ortiz. Because G-STRING Joshua would have been destroyed in front of 70,000!!! Just like kell brook vs Spence. We see thru all the lies.. and distractions.. cough up those belts AJ.. robbing all of us from seeing the fight! Wilder is the best.. U.K boys have zero health points left.. zero courage. Zero respect from the U.S!!!

Some people here really don't know how these purse bids work...

Hearn bid what it was worth..820k that's it.
He outbid sauerland.. and got beaten by a purse bid from an outside source.

He knows the game... The people who won the bid have already contacted him for co-promotion and UK rights and it's likely the fight wouldn't be in Bulgaria lol.

He even stated they had to pay 10% as a venue fee which as of yesterday hadn't been paid!

He might have lost the purse bid.. but bet your bottom dime if Whyte fights pulev it's on hearns terms or majority involvement

Whyte should boycott his fight with Pulev.

It makes no sense to go to your opponents backyard while you take the lesser percentage of the purse.

              He should fight Ortiz.

I like fights such as this between guys of similar status in their division. I like Danny Garcia vs Shawn Porter because both of them lost razor thin decisions to Thurman therefore I consider them about the same.

Looks like Whyte might be forced to back up all that tough talk and face Ortiz lol

Between the IBF's mandated split of the purse, and the contest taking place in Pulev's backyard, Whyte and Hearn may very well explore the amount of compensation involved in facing Ortiz.

Broke MOFO this Hearns is! haha! Wheres that billionaire streaming service money from DAZN?! Cant even win a purse-bid for Dillian Shyte after he sparked that punch-bag Lucas Browne in the UK! Mismatchroom is a joke promotion!
Yea I boxers would jump at the opportunity to work with Hearn after that billion dollar investment. Maybe they have a few big name fighters they'll be signing soon that we don't know about??? I'll give it more time before I say it is a flop but this is a sketchy start lol
