no...but I think its been explained that haymons guys are getting more money than just their "purse"...I didn't say he was getting 150 percent of it on top

but I think its funny that many posters, who are obviously anti haymon, claim that al is overpaying pretty much all of his guys

yet scoff when they reject an offer that would appear to pay them even more than the guy that was already overpaying them

Well I hope that Hearn would pay fighters for fighting good fights. When Haymon came on the scene he overpaid fighters to fight bums and total mismatches.

That's the issue. I hope the fighters get all the money in the world, but if they get it fighting mismatches it's really bad for boxing.

So yeah, Hearn will overpay fighters their worth, but hopefully part of the deal is to make proper championship level fights.

To be fair to Haymon, PBC have been putting on some great fights in the last year or two.

The autistic Charlo brothers and Adrien Broner are in the process of pricing themselves out. Eddie Hearn offered them all the same money they're on, with potential to earn more than they ever have, and they all scoffed at his offer. It seems that African Americans in particular have developed a culture of pricing themselves out and trying to cash out every fight. That is exactly why PBC failed and was not sustainable.

Then why don’t he just sign white fighters then? It seems that Caucasians can’t accept when someone turns them down anymore. if you look back at even some of the "mismatches" al tried to put on some of them turned out to be very good fights or fights where his "star" may have appeared to have been beaten.....

What people don't understand is that very powerful PR Firms are used to keep these scumbags protected.
