Thats a bold statement from Fat Dan about DAZN wanting to back out if this news is legit. But is it legit????

    #FakeNewsTilISeeALink
He didn't say DAZN is looking to back out. All he said was to his knowledge no major names had signed with Hearn

no...but I think its been explained that haymons guys are getting more money than just their "purse"...I didn't say he was getting 150 percent of it on top

but I think its funny that many posters, who are obviously anti haymon, claim that al is overpaying pretty much all of his guys

yet scoff when they reject an offer that would appear to pay them even more than the guy that was already overpaying them

"al overpays his guys..al is terrible for boxing"...."hearn is offering them more than what al can do...omg why wont they leave al"?!?!?!

      its comical really

lets be real...a lot of these guys wanna see fighters leave al for hearn just so they can feel like they won something on a message board against guys who said the pbc was doing just fine....they want to claim some sort of victory over al haymon...its pathetic
Well I hope that Hearn would pay fighters for fighting good fights. When Haymon came on the scene he overpaid fighters to fight bums and total mismatches.

That's the issue. I hope the fighters get all the money in the world, but if they get it fighting mismatches it's really bad for boxing.

So yeah, Hearn will overpay fighters their worth, but hopefully part of the deal is to make proper championship level fights.

To be fair to Haymon, PBC have been putting on some great fights in the last year or two.

I know it's no major name, but didn't he announce Gabe Rosado? Or was that just a rumour?

It seems that African Americans in particular have developed a culture of pricing themselves out and trying to cash out every fight. That is exactly why PBC failed and was not sustainable.
Then why don’t he just sign white fighters then? It seems that Caucasians can’t accept when someone turns them down anymore. They don’t have to sign to Hearn just because all you Caucasians in here worship him. You got a problem with African Americans deciding their own future? Didn’t Mikey Garcia turn him down also? Guarantee you wouldn’t call neither one of the Charlo brothers autistic to their face. This is probably the response you wanted

but every fight cant be a big one...and you have to make certain fights in order to build something down the line and make fighters look good......everyone does it

Was a continuation of what you two were talking about, either of you could have responded, don't mind a bit.

For the record I don't think anyones pricing themselves out, just trying to get the best deal.

Absolutely, I edited my post to say Haymon in fairness have been putting on really good shows.

But when I think back to some of the mismatches like Keith Thurman vs Collazo, Garcia vs Salka obviously was a GBP card, but Haymon paid him, Broner vs Theophane etc. and the money that was flying around... crazy!

Great for the fighters obviously, risking nothing and getting paid.

I hear you...but its just a tactic promoters use to build future fights and to build "stars"....

if you look back at even some of the "mismatches" al tried to put on some of them turned out to be very good fights or fights where his "star" may have appeared to have been beaten.....

In NO WAY is it related to Jimmy Saville or Operation Yewtree, which is a cover up and complete joke any way of what is really going on.

I was one of the few people who was exposing the likes of Jimmy Saville and the MP Cyril Smith long before any thing was known about them and people just laughed and said "Where is the Evidience" or "Show me a Link".

What people don't understand is that very powerful PR Firms are used to keep these scumbags protected.

People like Max Clifford was not only a scumbag himself but knew the names of so many of his clients that he helped to keep out of the news.

The British Police are a joke, who work under the establishments control.

That's why i've always kept independent, i'm a lot poorer for it but it means i'm never in a position where i can be controlled or shut up by their money or power.
