I guess you didn't read or hear both Charlo's talk about getting offers from GBP. If that's the case, Canelo must be the carrot being dangled in front of them, so that's exactly why it's not unrealistic.

If that's the case, what do you suggest Charlo should do?
If he doesn't take the offer, it would look like he doesn't really want the fight bad enough.
The alternative is to stay home forever feeling safe with mom and dad and uncles.

I think he is smart to listen to the deal, but no way would I sign with GBP just to land Canelo. I think they are in a good place because now they have promoters competing against each other to sign them. If they do chose to go that route, I'm sure the offer will be good for them.

I don't get in the business of who wants what fight more than the other because I think they all want to fight. They just make sure they get the best deal possible. I hate when promoters try to use a fighter to sign other fighters to never have them get a chance at the big fight ...Like Ortiz and Hearn.

I just like to see the best fights really, all that other drama about who is ducking and who is doing this or that is lame to me.

Exactly why I and others say he's calling out a fight that is pretty much unrealistic.
No way would these Charlos sign with GBP just to land the Canelo fight.
We will just go in circles if you compare them with Khan.
Khan is his own man.
Unlike others, he reaches out to other promoters to make fights happen for him.
He just signed with Hearn, a previous business rival!
