Comments Thread For: Ocampo: I Can Shock Errol Spence - And He Knows It!

Undefeated welterweight contender Carlos "Chema" Ocampo (22-0, 13 KOs) is looking to become the next Mexican boxer to pull off a major upset. Last month, Jaime Munguia came in as an unknown opponent from Mexico, on late notice, and pulled off a stunning win with a fourth round knockout of Sadam Ali to capture the WBO junior middleweight title.

Ocampo... Sorry bro. I can't say you don't have a chance, but it's not gonna happen.

Surprise him by making it pass the fourth round nah you never know in boxing nothing is set in stone. It just take one mistake and your opponent capitalizing for you to lose your title via KO.... But I don't think Spence has to worry about that lol

this fight would be interesting if Ocampo had the KO ratio of Munguia but he seems to have average power

Lets just hope Ocampo can make it to the 6th so we can see Spence fight for at least 18mins.

Lol true. For all I know Ocampo is 6'1" and will weigh 167 on fight night and bully Spence. I've never even seen the guy.

Spence has fought nobody even "good" yet. His best win was against Kell Brook and that was 3-3 after 6 rounds before Kell gassed..which happens when you move up and down T W O weight classes.

My point ? Very little is known about Errol. He looks the goods, but so did AB.

I know nothing about Ocampo, but I consider Spence only a marginally proven prospect.
